Senior Programs

Programs for Seniors

 

Our Senior Programs provide a safe place for the Senior Citizen community to create strong relationships through our recreational activities as well as to promote their health through fitness classes.

Senior Fitness Classes

Seniors will take part in a low-impact, strength, and stretching during the fitness classes. These classes will help you improve your posture, flexibility, balance, and mobility. Seniors will have the options to choose a variety of exercises to help them reach their fitness goals. All classes are free to all community members. Every Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10-11am.

Senior Bingo

Seniors can come to Western Avenue to play BINGO. Lunch is provided to all Seniors who come out to play BINGO and if you win you will get to pick a prize. This is every 3rd Thursday of each month from 11am-12pm. Please call to sign up!

Senior Dinner Dances

The focus is on socializing, sharing memories, and celebrating the seniors. There is a small fee to be involved in the dinner dances which covers your dinner and entertainment.

Seniors on the Go

This program offers fun and engaging field trips designed specifically for seniors, providing a unique opportunity for socialization, learning, and adventure. These trips are carefully planned to accommodate mobility needs and offer relaxed enjoyable atmosphere.

Seniors Pickleball

Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It is a great way for Senior to have fun, learn, be active, and enjoy time with friends. This is a free program and is first come, first serve.

Senior Day of Play

Senior Day of Play, is designed just for seniors to relax, socialize, and enjoy a variety of activities! Spend the time playing classic card games and board games. Let your creativity shine while doing crafts, where you can make something special to take home or gift to a friend.

Senior Talk

Senior Talk is a welcoming and engaging space for meaningful conversation centered on shared life experiences. Participants come together to reflect on childhood memories, favorite hobbies, personal health and wellness journeys, and moments from history that shaped their lives. Through storytelling and open discussion, friendships are strengthened and wisdom is shared, creating a sense of connection, understanding, and community among seniors.

Senior ASL

The Senior ASL Program offers a fun and engaging opportunity for older adults to learn and practice American Sign Language in a supportive, social environment. Participants build communication skills while exercising their minds, improving coordination, and connecting with others through shared learning. Whether you’re brand new to ASL or looking to expand your skills, the program encourages confidence, lifelong learning, and meaningful connection across generations

Senior Movie Day

Senior Movie Day is a relaxing and enjoyable time for older adults to come together and enjoy classic favorites or popular films in a comfortable, welcoming setting. More than just a film screening, Senior Movie Day encourages social connection, friendship, and a sense of community through the simple joy of watching a movie together.

 

Senior Program
